Realization: How I know I truly love(d?) you.
The only thing in my life that I’ve truly been good at is writing, and I’ve been writing songs for as long as I can remember now. Some I’m proud of, some have hidden potential, and some should be burned immediately and forcefully. Each one has a meaning, however. They tell stories. If you loved someone…and they wanted to leave you, wouldn’t you do everything you could to make them want to stay? wouldn’t you make every effort that was humanly possible? obviously, if it was best for them to go, ultimately you would let them. but wouldn’t you put up a serious fight first?
